“I have been working with Kate and Mike for a little over a year. What I really like about this personalized exercise programming format are the flexibility and accountability factors.
I receive my personally tailored training sessions on the TrueCoach App and I can do them anytime. Even as a retired teacher, there are days that can get very busy with one thing or another…so if I don’t get to my workout, I can easily do it the next day on my own time, unlike a traditional in-person class which, if you miss, you are out of luck. The steady, progressive format keeps me accountable as well…I am totally motivated to keep up with the routine of my workouts and always feel energized when completed. Video clips for each exercise are right there on the App to guide me during my workout.
Bi-monthly virtual check-in meetings with Kate and Mike produce meaningful conversations, celebrating achievements, small or more significant. They provide me with a written report after our conversations which is a nice way to see and mark progress. The teacher in me likes reports…but also quite happy to not have to write them :)
Kate and Mike genuinely care for their client’s health and well-being. I appreciate that they really listen to what I am telling them and make changes based on my needs. After a lower back injury last fall, they focussed my workouts on that until it was resolved. I continue to use the stretches and exercises that I learned during that period. Along with continued strength and cardio circuits I am very happy to say I have no more back pain and I am well on my way to my goal of running 10k before the cold weather sets in.
