Laura: “I came to Kate working with a low back injury and knowing nothing about gyms or equipment use. 2 years later, I’m confident on equipment and writing up my own gym routines.
Kate breaks exercises down and explains her workout routines. She will never push you to do more if she’s not seeing excellent form before levelling you up.
She answers all your questions and her enthusiasm for her work shines through. Kate knows that health is beyond just aesthetics and reaches deep in her clients for their goals and motivations.
Kate has helped me gain self-confidence in the gym. She’s been there when I trained for the Juan de Fuca trail and helped me strengthen my body for my physical job.
If you’re not sure if the gym is for you or you’re feeling overwhelmed in how to be fit in a safe and progressive manner.
Go see Kate.”

Kate: “Laura is a Registered Massage Therapist and an avid outdoor adventurer and hiker. She leads an active lifestyle and her job is very physically demanding. I worked with her to increase her strength for her job, improve her posture, and increase her endurance, core and single leg stamina for long hiking trips.
Beyond the physical aspects, we also worked to increase her confidence training in gym settings. There was a focus on how to use the various exercise equipment, and her interest in program development lead me to educate her on how to be self-sufficient in this area. Not everyone loves going to the gym, and that’s ok, but if strength and conditioning training can help support a pain-free, happy and healthy lifestyle, then being comfortable navigating that setting can be hugely impactful. We worked hard on eliminating barriers to success, and becoming accountable and excited to progress.
Laura is a great example of someone who overcame obstacles, sought out answers, asked for help when needed and rises to become a better version of herself every single day. She inspires her clients and her friends and family to take care of themselves and she leads by example.”
