“We are Don and Donna; we are both 86 years old and are enjoying independent living. We will celebrate our 67th year together in September.
To live independently and to be able to drive the car and shop for necessities, and to get to appointments are all important to us. We have always believed that activity of some sort was important to healthy living along with a good diet.
Mike and Kate have been able to design a program for each of us that helps us to maintain our core and leg strength, our balance and our energy level for our daily tasks.
Donna has a heart condition that requires a Pacemaker to bring her heart rate into a normal range. With that and her exercises she is more flexible and is able to walk at a faster pace and for a longer duration.
I am still able to play golf and walk 9 holes; my handicap is 22. I am hoping to live long enough to score my age. With Mike and Kate’s help I will do that soon.
The thing we appreciate beyond their professionalism and wonderful technique is that their presentation is seamless. Although we alternate working with Mike one week, and then Kate the next, the instructions and coaching on technique or position is identical no matter who your coach is that day. They will encourage you to do “one more” but they will also give you permission to go at your own pace. Give them a try; you will grow to love them.”
