“Matty and I started training with Kate and Mike in September 2022. This choice was spurred after I strained my ankle, yet again, after multiple severe sprains over the past 8 years. I was set to jet off to Portugal with my mom in a few months and I found myself, once again, held up on the couch, frustrated, in pain, and stressed that I wasn't going to be able to freely roam amongst the cobblestones of Lisbon. I had been in this position way too many times! This prompted a strong desire to strengthen and stabilize not only my ankle but my whole 30-something-year-old-self.

Beginning training with Mike and Kate was the ideal opportunity to set both Matty and I on a path to take better care of our bodies. We've never been able to stay committed to any exercise routine. We've dabbled in classes that we would make excuses to miss, bought home equipment that collected dust, and set unrealistic goals that would make us feel like we had failed before we even started. Training with Virute Healthcare has broken this cycle. Mike and Kate have helped us create new habits that have set the foundation for incorporating exercise into our daily lives and have shown us that getting strong doesn't need to be draining or time-consuming. Better yet, it doesn't need to be daily trips to the public gym where you're subjected to fluorescent overhead lighting and top 40 on repeat! 

As a result of our weekly personalized training sessions, we've noticed welcome changes in our daily lives. We both work full-time desk jobs and find that we are less fatigued by the end of the 5-day week, we experience fewer strains and pains (even when working on vehicles in our gravel driveway with no lift!) and when we do have body aches or minor injuries, we now know how to help our bodies recover faster and prevent future occurrences. Most importantly, we no longer dread the idea of exercising and honestly look forward to our weekly routine. 

Mike and Kate are highly knowledgeable, motivating, and supportive. They've helped us gain confidence in our abilities and made us feel successful. We have weekly training sessions tailored to what we need and they keep us on track to achieve our goals.
